Anakhoronos — the official cultural club of Techno Main Salt Lake — brought the campus to life with Anakhoronos 2025, a three-day fest that celebrated creativity, rhythm, and youthful energy like never before. And what better way to end this vibrant journey than with a star-studded live performance by Bollywood sensation Nakash Aziz!
On the final evening, 15th May, Central Park transformed into a sea of lights and excitement as Nakash Aziz took the stage. With back-to-back hits like “Saree Ke Fall Sa” and “Jabra Fan”, he had the entire crowd singing, dancing, and cheering under the open sky. His electrifying performance, matched with the crowd’s energy, turned the night into a musical carnival.
And then, as if scripted by nature itself, it began to rain — not just water, but pure joy. Students didn’t run for shelter; instead, they celebrated in the downpour, dancing with arms wide open, turning Central Park into a rain-drenched dance floor of unforgettable happiness. It wasn’t just a concert — it was an emotion.

Day 1: A Celebration of Art, Vision & Storytelling
The creative journey of Anakhoronos 2025 began on 13th May, with a day dedicated entirely to the power of artistic expression. Off-stage events invited students to showcase their talent in Painting, Shora Painting, Doodle Art, Photography, Animation Making, and Short Film Making.
The campus turned into a buzzing hub of imagination — brushes painted bold ideas, doodles told heartfelt stories, and shora designs reflected deep cultural roots. Animation frames came to life and short films offered fresh perspectives through compelling visuals. The atmosphere was alive with creativity, proving that imagination needs no stage — just passion and a platform.
Day 2: Music, Dance & Unstoppable Energy at Central Park
On 14th May, the fest moved to the open grounds of Central Park, Karunamoyee, where the main stage came alive with electrifying energy.
The day kicked off with Sur Tarang, the solo singing competition. Contestants wowed the crowd with everything from classical masterpieces to popular chartbusters, filling the air with melody and emotion.
Next came Step Up, the solo dance competition. Dancers took the stage with a stunning range of styles — from graceful classical routines to sharp contemporary and freestyle moves.
The tempo rose with Club Feet, the group dance showdown. Teams brought power, precision, and passion, delivering performances that had the crowd clapping, cheering, and dancing along.
A highlight of the day was a surprise performance by Prof Dr Sujoy Biswas, CEO of Techno India Group. His warm presence and enthusiasm reminded everyone of the solid support behind the fest’s success.
As night fell, the spotlight shifted to The Riddles Band, who delivered an unforgettable mix of original songs and fan-favourite covers. With soulful vocals and high-octane rhythms, they wrapped up Day 2 on a truly musical note — under stars, stage lights, and endless applause.

Day 3: Dance Battles, Fashion Runways & Rain-Drenched Joy
15th May opened with the ever-popular Antakshari, where music met memory in a playful yet intense showdown. Laughter rang out, songs flowed, and the crowd sang along in a spirited warm-up to what came next.
Then came the explosive Dance Battle, judged by none other than Rhythmic, a legendary figure in street dance. Dancers battled it out in krump, hip-hop, popping, and breakdance styles — each round fiercer than the last. The energy was wild, and the crowd matched every beat with roars of support.
Panache, the fashion competition, took over next — and turned the runway into a canvas of bold ideas. From edgy streetwear and traditional fusion to sustainable fashion statements, the models walked with confidence, style, and meaning. Every step was cheered, every theme applauded.
And just as the skies opened up with unexpected rain — the crowd embraced it. Students danced, laughed, and celebrated in the rain, their spirit as unshakable as the music echoing through the park.
And then — Nakash Aziz took the stage, sealing Anakhoronos 2025 with a finale that no one could have dreamed of, but everyone will remember.

A Movement Brought to Life by a Dream Team
Behind the incredible three-day celebration was a team of dedicated students, faculty members, and coordinators who worked tirelessly to bring Anakhoronos 2025 to life. From planning logistics and designing stages to managing registrations and handling last-minute challenges — their efforts made every event a success and every moment feel magical.
Their hard work turned ideas into action, and action into applause.
Anakhoronos 2025: More Than a Fest — A Feeling
Over three unforgettable days, Anakhoronos 2025 was a canvas of colour, sound, movement, and memories. It celebrated creativity, courage, community, and the unstoppable spirit of the youth.
As the music faded and the lights went out, one truth echoed louder than any song:
Anakhoronos 2025 wasn’t the end — it was just the beginning.
