In a vibrant and engaging session held on April 29, the School of Allied Health Sciences at Techno India University hosted an impactful seminar on Healthy Summer Eating. With the soaring temperatures of summer posing a risk of dehydration and fatigue, this seminar came as a timely initiative to promote wellness and balanced nutrition among students.

The session was led by expert faculties from the Department of Food Science and Technology & Nutrition (FSTN), who captivated the audience with their interactive approach. Their insights on mindful eating, seasonal food choices, and maintaining hydration struck a chord with students, sparking curiosity and inspiring healthier habits.

What set this seminar apart was the inclusion of practical demonstrations and quick, healthy recipes—designed specifically for the summer season. The faculties emphasized the importance of consuming hydrating fruits, nutrient-rich vegetables, and natural cooling beverages. These tips not only reflected sound scientific knowledge but were also easy to incorporate into daily student life.

The seminar also highlighted the importance of a balanced diet in sustaining energy levels, improving concentration, and enhancing overall well-being during the stressful academic months. The initiative aimed to empower students from all departments of the School of Allied Health Sciences, including Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, and more.

A sincere vote of thanks was extended to the Department of Physiotherapy and Department of Medical Laboratory Technology for their valuable contributions. Their active involvement played a key role in making the event a resounding success.

Special acknowledgment was also given to the College of Nursing, School of Nursing, and the School of Pharmacy for their unwavering support and collaboration. Their presence reinforced the university’s multidisciplinary approach to health education and community wellness.

The seminar served as a beautiful example of how education, health awareness, and student engagement can come together to create a meaningful and enriching experience.
