Robokriti Lights Up Techno India University with Innovation and Creativity

Techno India University witnessed an electrifying celebration of innovation and ingenuity during Robokriti, a flagship technical showcase organized by Takshila – the Official Technical Club, on 22 November. The campus transformed into a buzzing arena of ideas as 31 teams comprising 155 enthusiastic participants came together to present cutting-edge projects spanning Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and real-world technology-driven solutions.

From autonomous machines to intelligent systems designed to solve everyday challenges, Robokriti offered a vibrant platform where theory met practice. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as students demonstrated working prototypes, confidently pitched their ideas, and engaged in insightful discussions with faculty members and industry mentors. Corridors and labs echoed with curiosity, collaboration, and the unmistakable energy of young innovators eager to make an impact.

The event was strongly anchored by the guidance of the university’s academic leadership. Prof. Ishan Ghosh encouraged students to pursue innovation with discipline, ethics, and integrity, emphasizing that responsible technology is as important as technological advancement. Adding depth to the mentoring process, Prof. Asoke Kumar Paul, along with Dr. Mourani Sinha and Prof. Alivia Mondal, provided valuable interdisciplinary insights. Their mentorship ensured academic rigor while motivating students to think beyond conventional boundaries and explore bold, unconventional approaches.

distinguished jury panel comprising senior faculty members from the Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering departments, along with accomplished Robotics alumni, evaluated the projects with keen attention. Entries were assessed on parameters such as innovation, technical execution, feasibility, and societal relevance. The jury’s detailed feedback played a crucial role in enriching the learning experience, offering participants constructive guidance and real-world perspectives.

Following an intense and thoughtful evaluation process, Team Tech Nova emerged as the Winner, impressing the jury with their originality and execution. Team The Unknowns secured the Second Position, while Team Aivengersclaimed the Third Position. Special accolades added further excitement to the event, with the Jury’s Choice Awardpresented to Team Tech Titans and the Audience Choice Award going to Team Nebula, highlighting both expert appreciation and popular support.

The event was seamlessly coordinated by Rakesh Soni and the dedicated Takshila team, whose meticulous planning and teamwork ensured a smooth and engaging experience for participants and visitors alike. Their efforts set a high benchmark for student-led technical initiatives on campus.
