Ramgarh Engineering College Hosts Heartwarming Blood Donation Camp

Ramgarh Engineering College, part of the Techno India Group, witnessed a powerful display of compassion, humanity, and social responsibility on 12 December as its NSS Unit and Innovation & Incubation Cell (IIC), in collaboration with Muskurahate NGO and CCL Rajrappa, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on campus. The initiative aimed to inspire students, faculty, and staff to voluntarily come forward and contribute to a noble cause, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to community welfare and humanitarian service while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

The response from the college community was overwhelming. Over 80 students and staff registered, and around 55 units of blood were collected under the careful supervision of certified doctors, nurses, and technicians. Every safety protocol, from pre-donation screening to post-donation care, was strictly followed, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for all donors.

Dr. Sharbani Roy, Principal of Ramgarh Engineering College, shared her pride: “Blood donation is a gift of life. I am immensely proud of our students and staff who came forward with such enthusiasm. This camp truly reflects our institution’s commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.”

Dr. Nazmul Islam, Vice Principal, added, “Events like these instill compassion and a sense of moral responsibility among students. We sincerely thank Muskurahate NGO and CCL Rajrappa for partnering with us and making this camp a success.”

Rupam Kumar Pal, NSS Coordinator, expressed his admiration for the students’ spirit: “The overwhelming participation highlights the empathy and awareness of our youth. Through such initiatives, NSS continues to inspire students to serve society with courage and care.”

The event was further enriched by the presence of the RIIMS Ranchi team, including Dr. Kavita and Dr. Vivek Ranjan, as well as HR representative Ramoji Prasad from CCL Rajrappa. Faculty members Ashish Narayan, Arunabha Datta, Pallab Das, Nilesh Kumar, Asim Kumar Mahato, Bagesh Bihari, Chandan Raj, Ayani Nandi, Komal Kumari, Shiv Kumar, Abhimanyu Kumar, Pinaki Ranjan Das, Amrit Raj, and Sikandar Kumar actively supported the camp. Student volunteers also played a key role, assisting in donor registration, queue management, and awareness campaigns to ensure the event ran seamlessly.

The Blood Donation Camp was a resounding success, not just in terms of numbers, but in spreading a message of empathy, humanity, and social commitment. With such initiatives, Ramgarh Engineering College and Muskurahate NGO continue to set an inspiring example for community engagement and youth participation in social causes.
