Roars of Awareness: TIGER DAY Celebrated with Enthusiasm at TIGPS, Garia

In a heartwarming and vibrant celebration, Techno India Group Public School, Garia observed International Tiger Day on July 29th with an inspiring mix of creativity, learning, and fun-filled activities. Under the thoughtful guidance of Principal Tania Sen, the school turned the important message of wildlife conservation into an engaging experience for its young learners.

The celebration began with an adorable display of Balvatika 1, 2, and 3 students dressed up as tigers and various other jungle animals. The sight of tiny tots growling, purring, and prowling around the campus brought smiles to every face, while subtly sowing the seeds of conservation awareness in their young minds.

The little ones also showcased their artistic flair through craft-making activities — designing tiger masks, hand puppets, wristbands, and headgears. These activities were not only enjoyable but also helped improve their motor skills and boosted their creativity.

As the day progressed, the school buzzed with role-plays, musical performances, skits, and recitations, all focusing on the majestic tiger and its endangered status. The auditorium echoed with applause for the enthusiastic participants, as each performance carried a strong message on the importance of protecting wildlife.

A unique and enriching addition to the celebration was the screening of the thought-provoking documentary ‘Sundarban – The Tides of Life’ for students of Classes III to V. Sourced and presented personally by Principal Tania Sen, the film shed light on the ecosystem of the Sundarbans and the vital role tigers play in maintaining the balance of nature. The documentary left a lasting impression on the students, deepening their understanding of and respect for India’s rich wildlife.

Through this celebration, the school succeeded in planting a deeper sense of responsibility, appreciation, and awareness in young minds towards nature and its irreplaceable inhabitants. The message was loud and clear — the roar of the tiger must never be silenced.

“It is only when the young hearts understand the pulse of nature that we can truly hope for a sustainable future,” remarked Principal Sen, whose vision and initiative made this day both memorable and meaningful.

The day ended not just with the sound of applause, but with a stronger, more determined roar — the promise of a generation that cares.
