Dumka Engineering College, successfully organized a two-day campus placement drive in collaboration with Aspen Enggicon Pvt. Ltd. on 5th and 6th June 2026, creating valuable career opportunities for aspiring engineers across Jharkhand.
The placement drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from 130 students representing Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering disciplines. Along with students from Dumka Engineering College, aspiring engineers from Chaibasa Engineering College, Ramgarh Engineering College, and Silli Polytechnic also took part in the recruitment process, making it one of the significant collaborative placement initiatives in the region.
The event began with an engaging Pre-Placement Talk conducted by Ms. Madhumita Kaur, HR Manager of Aspen Enggicon Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Chandan Kumar Tiwary, Founder and Managing Director of the company. During the session, they introduced students to the company’s vision, ongoing projects, work culture, and the career opportunities available for young engineering graduates. The interaction provided valuable industry insights and helped students understand the expectations of the corporate world.
Following the pre-placement session, candidates underwent a comprehensive selection process consisting of technical and HR interviews. The interviews assessed the students’ technical expertise, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall suitability for the roles offered by the company.
The drive concluded on a successful note with 16 students securing placements, including 8 students from Dumka Engineering College and 8 students from the participating institutions. The achievement reflects the growing employability of engineering graduates from Jharkhand and the strengthening relationship between academia and industry.
The placement drive was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Sudipta Chakraborty, Director (Jharkhand), Techno India Group. Representatives from the Central Placement Cell of Techno India Group, Mr. Arun Sahoo and Mr. Somnath Roy, were also present and played a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of the recruitment process.
At Dumka Engineering College, the event was organized under the leadership of Principal Dr. Ganesh Shankar, with the support of Vice-Principal Dr. Ratan Kumar Bose, Training & Placement Officer Dr. Ranadeep Dey, and faculty members from various departments, whose collective efforts ensured the success of the drive.
The representatives of Aspen Enggicon Pvt. Ltd. appreciated the seamless organization of the recruitment process and praised the students for their discipline, enthusiasm, and technical proficiency.
