Dumka Engineering College Hosts UltraTech IndiaNext STIMULUS 2026

Dumka Engineering College successfully organized UltraTech IndiaNext STIMULUS 2026 – A National Level Civil Engineering Quiz on 7th May 2026, providing students with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate their technical knowledge and engage with industry professionals. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, particularly from students of the Civil Engineering Department, who competed with great zeal while exploring new avenues for academic and professional growth.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Avijit Bardhan, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, whose dedicated efforts ensured its smooth execution. The program was chaired by the respected Principal in the presence of the Vice-Principal, highlighting the institution’s continued commitment to promoting industry-oriented learning experiences.

Prof. Pankaj Sarkar, President of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, also played an active role in coordinating the event and encouraged students to take part in such initiatives that bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations. The occasion was further graced by Dr. Ranadeep Dey, Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Prof. Sruti Sen Sarma, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, along with faculty members from various departments.

Representing UltraTech Cement, Mr. Md. Kalim (TM-TCS) and Mr. Pawan Kumar (Technical Executive) conducted the national-level quiz and interacted with students on emerging opportunities in the civil engineering sector. Their session offered valuable insights into career prospects, internships, and the skills required to succeed in the industry, making the event both informative and inspiring.
