Floral tributes were offered in his honour, recalling his fearless leadership, indomitable spirit, and unwavering dedication to the nation. The occasion echoed Netaji’s inspiring words, “Freedom is not given, it is taken,” encouraging students to embrace discipline, courage, and responsibility in their academic and personal lives.

Faculty members addressed the gathering, highlighting Netaji’s ideals of self-reliance, sacrifice, and service to the motherland. Students were motivated to imbibe these principles as they prepare to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.
On the same day, the campus was filled with devotion as Saraswati Puja was observed with traditional rituals and spiritual solemnity. The presence of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, and the arts, symbolised the pursuit of learning guided by ethics and enlightenment. Students dressed in traditional attire added grace and cultural richness to the atmosphere, reinforcing the significance of India’s cultural heritage within academic spaces.
The essence of Saraswati Puja is reflected in the revered shlok dedicated to Goddess Saraswati:
“या कुन्देन्दु तुषारहार धवला
या शुभ्रवस्त्रावृता
या वीणावरदण्डमण्डित करा
या श्वेतपद्मासना”
The shlok portrays Maa Saraswati as the embodiment of purity, wisdom, and illumination, symbolising the removal of ignorance and the awakening of knowledge. Its meaning resonates deeply with the values of education, creativity, and ethical learning upheld within the institution.
The celebrations continued on 24th January 2026 with a Vandara (community feast), fostering unity, harmony, and a sense of togetherness among students and staff. The day also featured a vibrant cultural programme, including devotional songs, classical and folk dances, musical performances, and recitations by students. The programme showcased the creative talents and cultural diversity of the college community, earning warm appreciation from all present.

The three-day observance concluded on 25th January 2026 with the Visarjan of Maa Saraswati, conducted with reverence, discipline, and solemnity. As devotees bid a heartfelt farewell, prayers were offered for wisdom, success, and enlightenment. The Visarjan procession reflected cultural harmony and collective devotion, leaving a lasting spiritual impact on all participants.
The spirit of the celebration echoed Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s timeless belief:
“The true source of rights is duty.”
The events reinforced the idea that education must shape individuals who uphold values, responsibility, and service alongside academic excellence.
The entire programme was organised smoothly under the guidance of the college administration, with active coordination by faculty members and the student committee. Their collective efforts ensured a meaningful celebration that strengthened cultural values, promoted unity, and encouraged holistic development among students.
