Ramgarh, 28th November 2025: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Ramgarh Engineering College recently organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Quiz, aiming to ignite entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and start-up awareness among students. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across various engineering disciplines, all eager to test their knowledge and explore the dynamic world of entrepreneurship.
The quiz covered a broad spectrum of topics, including general entrepreneurship, start-up ecosystems, government schemes, intellectual property rights (IPR), and successful Indian entrepreneurs. Conducted in multiple engaging rounds—ranging from business awareness to rapid-fire challenges—the event not only tested students’ knowledge but also encouraged quick thinking and problem-solving skills. Winners were awarded certificates and prizes, while all participants received certificates of participation.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sharbani Roy, Principal of Ramgarh Engineering College, said, “Entrepreneurship is the backbone of a self-reliant nation. Through this Entrepreneurship Awareness Quiz, our students have taken an important step toward developing innovative thinking, leadership, and self-confidence.” Dr. Nazmul Islam, Vice Principal, added, “Today’s students must aim not only to be job seekers but also job creators. This quiz has inspired our students to explore the vast opportunities in India’s start-up ecosystem.”
Dr. Bagesh Bihari, Program Coordinator, expressed gratitude to the faculty and student volunteers, emphasizing IIC’s commitment to regularly fostering a start-up culture and industry readiness among students. Faculty members Arunabha Datta, Pallab Das, Rajeev Ranjan, and Pranav Pandey were also present to support and guide the participants.
The event concluded with a powerful message for all students: “Be a Job Creator, Not Just a Job Seeker.” Through events like these, Ramgarh Engineering College continues to nurture innovation, entrepreneurial mindset, and confidence among the engineers of tomorrow.
