“Every child is not meant to fit the pattern — some are born to create new designs of thought, new colours of understanding.”
On a rain-soaked morning that seemed to test both patience and purpose, the spirit of empathy and inclusivity triumphed gloriously at the World Dyslexia Day celebration held at the Victoria Memorial, Kolkata. Despite the relentless drizzle, hearts shone brighter than the clouds above as students, educators, and dignitaries came together to honour the strength, courage, and brilliance of children who learn differently.
Among the spirited participants were the students of TMSL, Techno India Group Public School (TIGPS) from the Garia and Ariadaha branches. Their presence embodied the Group’s enduring belief that education must nurture every learner — not by uniformity, but through understanding and compassion.

The morning was graced by Prof. Manoshi RoyChowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, whose presence reflected the institution’s deep commitment to inclusive and compassionate education. Also in attendance were Shri Anurag Kumar, Secretary and Curator of Victoria Memorial Hall, and Dr. Arundhati Sarkar, Director of Anjali Dyslexia Association Kolkata & Anjali Educational, both of whom emphasized the importance of recognizing and nurturing diverse learning abilities.
As rain gently fell upon the marble steps of the Victoria Memorial, the message of the day stood unwavering: Dyslexia is not a limitation — it is a different way of seeing, feeling, and imagining the world. Behind every struggle with words lies a story of resilience, creativity, and boundless imagination.

The Techno India students stood shoulder to shoulder in solidarity, celebrating the uniqueness of every learner. Their support symbolized a powerful truth — that real education begins when society learns to listen before it labels, understand before it judges, and celebrate before it corrects.
World Dyslexia Day at Victoria Memorial was not merely an event; it was a heartfelt reminder that every child’s journey is beautiful in its own rhythm. Their dreams are valid, their voices matter, and their differences are what make the world infinitely richer.
