A Heartwarming Act of Kindness: TIGPS, Ariadaha Visits Watgunge Adolescent Improvement Association – Copy

The students of Techno India Group Public School, Ariadaha, recently took part in a very special and meaningful visit to the Watgunge Adolescent Improvement Association at Hastings. With hearts full of compassion and hands full of gifts, the students went to spread joy among underprivileged children—and they did just that.

In this kind initiative, the students collected and donated books and stationery items to children in need. What made this act even more special was the effort they put into the presentation—each item was lovingly packed in handmade paper bags, designed by the students themselves. These bags were not just useful, but also symbols of care, creativity, and thoughtfulness.

When the gifts were handed over, the children’s faces lit up with joy. Their happy smiles and excitement made the visit truly unforgettable for everyone involved.

This visit was more than just an act of giving—it was a learning experience for the students. It helped them understand the importance of kindness and showed them how a simple gesture can bring happiness to others. It also taught them to appreciate the privileges they have and encouraged a strong sense of empathy and social responsibility.

A special thanks goes to Principal, Ms. Debdutta Bera Adhya, whose constant support and encouragement made this outreach possible. The students were also guided and supported by their teachers—Mr. Shrawan Kumar Singh (Hindi Faculty), Mr. Pabitra Das (Physical Education Faculty), and Ms. Arpita Roy (Incharge of the Excursion Committee)—who accompanied them on this noble visit.

This heartfelt experience reminded everyone involved that kindness doesn’t require big things—it starts with small, thoughtful actions done with love. Moments like these inspire students to grow into responsible, compassionate citizens who can make a difference in the world.

Such acts of kindness will always be remembered—not only by those who received the gifts but also by those who gave them.
