Ramgarh Engineering College Marks 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Spirit

Ramgarh, January 26, 2025 – The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great excitement at Ramgarh Engineering College, part of Techno India Group. Students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff gathered to honour this special day, which marks the adoption of India’s Constitution in 1950. The college campus was beautifully decorated by students, creating a patriotic atmosphere.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag by Dr. Sharbani Roy, Principal of Ramgarh Engineering College, followed by the singing of the national anthem by everyone present. In her speech, Dr. Roy spoke about the importance of Republic Day and reminded students of their responsibility toward the country. She said, “It is my honour to stand before you today to celebrate the 76th Republic Day of our great nation. On this day, 26th January 1950, the Constitution of India came into effect, transforming our nation into a sovereign, democratic republic. I also inform the students to take responsibility for the well-being of our country.”

Vice Principal Dr. Nazmul Islam emphasized the importance of discipline in his speech. He stated that the Constitution acts as a roadmap to maintaining order in the country and achieving success. Faculty members, including Dr. Ashis Narayan, Mr. Rupam Kumar Pal, Mr. Pallab Das, Mr. Kamal Ahamed, Mrs. Ankita Roy Biswas, Mr. Vishal Kumar Saw, Dr. Shiv Kumar, Mr. Pranav Pandey, and many others, were present at the event.

The students of Ramgarh Engineering College organized a series of cultural programs to celebrate the occasion. Patriotic songs and poems were presented, and students gave speeches on the significance of Republic Day. One of the most memorable moments was the pyramid formation, where students created a human tower and hoisted the national flag at the top. This display of teamwork and dedication was met with loud applause from the audience.

Other performances included a student parade, dance performances, and patriotic skits that filled the air with energy and enthusiasm. The celebration truly felt like a festival, with a large number of students participating and enjoying the event.

The program ended with the distribution of sweets to everyone, leaving a feeling of unity and pride among all attendees. The Republic Day celebrations at Ramgarh Engineering College once again highlighted the spirit of patriotism and the commitment of students toward the values of democracy and nation-building.
