Balurghat, April 11, 2025 — Techno India Group is immensely proud to announce that Niravaro Basak, a Class X student from Techno India Group Public School, Balurghat, has been selected to participate in ISRO’s Young Scientist Program – YUVIKA 2025, an initiative by the Indian Space Research Organisation aimed at nurturing young scientific minds across the country.
The Young Scientist Program, fondly known as YUVIKA (YUva VIgyani KAryakram), is a two-week residential experience designed to spark scientific curiosity and provide school students with first hand exposure to the world of space science and technology. Niravaro will be attending the program from May 18 to May 30, 2025, at the esteemed Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
This program offers an extraordinary opportunity to delve into India’s advancements in space science through an engaging curriculum comprising classroom lectures, hands-on activities, and immersive experiments. From model rocketry and robotic coding to sky gazing and drone demonstrations, participants will be introduced to the foundational aspects of space exploration. They will also gain valuable insights through CANSAT experiments, DIY kit assemblies, and most notably, interactive sessions with ISRO’s eminent scientists and engineers.
Niravaro’s selection for this prestigious national program is a testament to his passion for science, consistent academic excellence, and innovative thinking. His achievement brings immense pride to the Techno India Group Public School community and reflects the institution’s ongoing commitment to fostering curiosity, creativity, and scientific inquiry among students.
