Techno India University and AUT Unite for Visionary Workshop on Higher Education

Techno India University, West Bengal, recently hosted a distinguished workshop on “Emerging Fields in Higher Education: Where to Focus in the Next Decade.” The event was conducted by Prof. Guy Littlefair, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Auckland University of Technology, who shared his expertise on preparing for the future of education in a rapidly evolving academic landscape.

The cooperative project was created especially for the university’s faculty members and was organised by Techno India University in collaboration with Auckland University of Technology. In order to prepare them to remain competitive in the global academic arena, the workshop aimed to give educators profound insights into new trends and future-ready teaching.

The workshop was graced by the presence of Prof. Samiran Chattopadhaya, Vice-Chancellor of Techno India University and Dr. Rina Paladhi, Director of Techno India University. During the session, Prof. Littlefair emphasized key areas for academic focus over the next decade, including combining different fields of study, using advanced technology in teaching, focusing on sustainability and building global partnerships.
