Techno Engineering College Banipur (TECB) and Post Graduate Government Institute of Physical Education, Banipur (PGGIPE) successfully organized a blood donation camp on September 6, 2024, at the TECB seminar hall. This collaborative effort showcased the institutions’ commitment to social responsibility and healthcare.
Distinguished guests graced the occasion, including Dr. Maloy Kumar Chandra (Principal of TECB), Dr. Laxminarayan Koibatra (Principal of PGGIPE), Narayan Chandra Saha (Chairman of Habra Municipality), Shyam Sundar Ghosh (SI Hanra PS), Dr. Sumandra Nath Ghosh (Professor at PGGIPE), Dr. Animesh Roy and Dr. Aditi Roy (Ranaghat Government Hospital), and professors from TECB. The event was formally inaugurated by lighting the lamp.



With the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty, staff, and members of the local community, the blood donation camp was a resounding success. A total of 71 donors generously contributed their blood, which will undoubtedly save lives. The donated blood will be used for various medical procedures and treatments at local hospitals.


The camp served as a platform to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and encouraged individuals to contribute to this noble cause. It also highlighted the vital role played by educational institutions in promoting social welfare and community engagement.


TECB and PGGIPE expressed their gratitude to all the participants, donors, and organizers for their invaluable contributions to the success of the blood donation camp. The institutions reaffirmed their commitment to organizing such events in the future to address the critical need for blood and promote a culture of giving back to society.
