“Holi is the day when differences fade, laughter grows louder, and every color tells a story of joy and togetherness.”
The spirit of Holi arrived in full color at the campus of Techno India University as students gathered to celebrate Rang Barse 2026 on 2nd March, a vibrant festival organized by Techno Sahotsava. With the arrival of spring and the warmth of Basanta in the air, the campus transformed into a joyful space where music, laughter, and colors brought everyone together.
The morning began with students dressed in white kurtas and bright smiles, carrying the excitement of the celebration ahead. What started as small splashes of gulal soon turned into a beautiful explosion of colors. Within moments, the courtyard transformed into a living canvas filled with vibrant hues of pink, yellow, green, and red.
Music soon became the heartbeat of the celebration. Students gathered for live performances that filled the campus with rhythm and enthusiasm. Guitars strummed softly at first before voices joined in, turning the jamming sessions into a collective musical experience. Friends clapped along, sang familiar lines, and enjoyed the spontaneity of the moment, capturing the true spirit of campus life.
Adding to the energy were vibrant student performances throughout the day. From singing to spontaneous dance moments, every performance brought fresh excitement and encouraged others to join in. What made these performances special was their simplicity, it was not about a stage or spotlight, but about students celebrating together through music and expression.

The celebration also carried a strong cultural touch. Creative artworks and colorful displays prepared by students reflected the spirit of Basanta and the artistic energy present across the campus, adding another layer of festivity to the day.
Faculty members were also present during the celebration, sharing in the festive spirit and encouraging the students’ enthusiasm. Their presence added warmth to the gathering and strengthened the sense of community that defines life at the university.
Through the afternoon, the celebration continued with dancing, singing, photos, and endless laughter. Groups formed and reformed, friends colored each other’s faces, and every corner of the campus seemed to hold a moment worth remembering. A highlight of the celebration was students coming together to play Holi with gulal. With vibrant colors in their hands, friends joyfully applied gulal on each other’s faces, filling the courtyard with laughter and cheerful moments. Clouds of pink, yellow, and green rose into the air, turning the campus into a lively canvas of color, friendship, and festive joy.
For many students, this celebration became more than just a festival, it became a memory for life. College Holi carries a special charm, where laughter, friendship, and carefree moments come together. Years later, when students look back at their university days, they will remember afternoons like this—running through the courtyard covered in colors, sharing music, laughter, and moments that made campus life truly unforgettable.
By the time the celebration slowly drew to a close, the white outfits students had arrived in had completely transformed, now covered in bright colors that carried memories of the day.
Organized by Technosahotsava, Rang Barse 2026 was more than just a Holi celebration. It was a reminder that college life is not only about lectures and deadlines, but also about the friendships, music, and moments of joy that make these years unforgettable.
Because sometimes, the best college memories begin with white clothes… and end with colors you never want to wash away.
