December 5, 2024, Kolkata: Techno India Group, in collaboration with Kolkata Sahodaya, proudly hosted the curtain-raiser for the prestigious 30th National Annual Sahodaya Conference at P.C. Chandra Gardens, Kolkata. Bringing together 1,300 principals and educators from India and abroad, this landmark event marked the first-ever hosting of the conference in Eastern India, with Techno India showcasing Bengal’s cultural richness and fostering meaningful connections in the world of education.
A lively cultural and networking evening that celebrated the Spirit of Bengal began off the event. A friendly and welcoming environment for educators to interact was created by the engaging performances and exhibits that showcased the region’s heritage.
The inaugural ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by a distinguished panel of dignitaries, setting an auspicious tone for the event. Present at the occasion were Shri Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Education; Shri Rahul Singh, Chairman of CBSE; Dr. Pragya M. Singh, Director of Academics, CBSE; and Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group. Their inspiring presence emphasized the significance of collaboration and innovation in education.
The cultural evening dazzled with vibrant performances, starting with Aabahon, a tribute to Bengal’s heritage by TIGPS students. Energetic dances by Abhinava Bharti High School, Airforce School Barrackpore, and DAV Public School Taratala enthralled the audience. A soulful tribute to Salil Chowdhury by TIGPS students added a nostalgic touch, while Mile Sur Mera Tumhara by TIGPS Garia symbolized unity, leaving the audience captivated and inspired.
