Kolkata | September 11, 2026: Two days of ideas, competition, teamwork and quick thinking came alive at ASMI B-School as the institution hosted DEPLOY 2026, a two-day inter-team challenge designed for the first-year BBA and MBA students of the Batch of 2026. Held on September 10 and 11, the event gave students an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and put their business knowledge, creativity and leadership skills into action.
With the theme “Turn Potential into Action,” DEPLOY brought together students through a series of challenges that tested different sides of their personalities and professional abilities. From Business Without Borders, Sell the Impossible and Boardroom Blitz to Ad-Mad: 60-Second Campaign, Prompt to Profit, ASMI Creator League, Humans of ASMI and One Minute, One Big Idea, each challenge encouraged participants to think on their feet, work with their teams and come up with practical, engaging solutions.

The competitive spirit remained high throughout the two days, with teams competing across the challenges for a place on the common leaderboard. At the end of DEPLOY 2026, Team ECO-CONNECT, comprising Trambak Ganguly, Srinjoy Paul and Arpita Sam, emerged as the overall winner. Their performance across the challenges reflected strong teamwork, adaptability and the ability to turn ideas into action.
TEAM PROFIT REBELS, comprising Anik Das, Bhumika Modak, Bhumi Kalwar and Jaaraj Singh Parmar from the MBA 2026 batch, secured the second position, while TEAM THINK TANK, comprising Bidisha Das, Badotrayee Nandy, Ananya Nandy, Swapnil Saha and Komal Paswan from the BBA 2026 batch, finished third.
The event also saw individual recognition, with Ameesha Maity from the MBA second-year batch earning a place among the recognised performers. In a separate creative honour, a student from the BBA 2026 batch won the ASMI Content Creator Cup, recognising their ability to capture and communicate the spirit of the event through content.

The winners and participants were felicitated by Prof. Dr. Sujoy Biswas, Registrar and Director & CEO, Techno India Group, and Dr. Gautam Majumdar, Pro Vice Chancellor, Techno India University. They presented the students with medals, certificates and gift hampers, recognising their enthusiasm, creativity and performance throughout the two-day challenge.
The event also served as a distinctive welcome for the new batch, giving students a chance to interact, compete and build connections from the very beginning of their journey at ASMI B-School. Rather than being limited to conventional academic exercises, the challenges created an informal and energetic environment where students could discover their strengths while learning from one another.
More than simply a competition, DEPLOY 2026 gave students a space to experiment, make decisions, communicate their ideas and learn through experience. The two-day format allowed the new batch to experience the culture of ASMI B-School in a way that was competitive yet collaborative.
As the first-year students begin their academic journey, DEPLOY 2026 marked an energetic start—one where potential was not just discussed, but put into action.
