In a remarkable achievement that has brought pride to the Techno fraternity, fourth-year students of Techno Engineering College, Banipur, Melisa Paul and Sayan Adhikary, representing Team sayanadhikary003, secured the All India Runner-Up (2nd Rank) position at EY Techathon 6.0, a prestigious national-level innovation competition organized by EY.
Competing against an enormous talent pool comprising over 1,85,000 registrations and 14,600+ submissions, the duo successfully advanced through multiple rigorous stages, ultimately emerging among the top 12 finalists from across the country.
What makes this accomplishment even more commendable is the scale and intensity of the competition, which shortlisted only 57 semifinalists before narrowing it down to the final round. Demonstrating exceptional problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking, the team consistently impressed the judges at every stage with their well-developed solution. Their efforts were recognized not only with national acclaim but also with a cash prize of ₹2,00,000, highlighting the significance and impact of their work.
The journey of Melisa and Sayan was one of dedication, perseverance, and continuous learning.
