It was an unforgettable day for Class XII students of Techno India Group Academia – South Kolkata, as they stepped into the dazzling world of one of India’s most beloved reality shows, SA RE GA MA PA. Accompanied by our Principal Ma’am and a few faculty members, the students had the rare and exciting opportunity to be a part of the live studio audience, witnessing firsthand the energy, emotion, and grandeur that the show is known for.
Their visit became even more special as the episode being filmed was a centenary tribute to the legendary Salil Chowdhury, whose birth month is being celebrated across the music fraternity.
Salil Chowdhury—a composer, lyricist, writer, and poet—remains one of the most influential figures in Indian music. His genius lay in blending Indian classical and folk traditions with Western influences, creating timeless melodies that continue to inspire generations across Bengali, Hindi, and Malayalam cinema.
Watching a tribute to such an iconic figure added depth, nostalgia, and cultural richness to the experience, leaving the students truly mesmerised.
The 2025 Bengali season of SA RE GA MA PA introduced the distinguished “Nabaratna” panel of judges, featuring:
Shantanu Moitra, Jojo Mukherjee, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Antara Mitra, Jeet Gannguli, Rupam Islam, Rupankar Bagchi, Sreeradha Bandyopadhyay, and Subhamita Banerjee.
To add to the excitement, students also got the chance to see and interact with the charismatic host, Abir Chatterjee, along with the esteemed judges—turning an already thrilling day into a star-studded memory.
Their warm interactions and the welcoming atmosphere of the studio made the students feel truly valued as part of this grand musical celebration.
For the students of Techno India Group Academia, this was more than just a visit—it was a glimpse into the world of professional music production, teamwork, creativity, and cultural celebration.
