The festive season arrived early at Techno India University as the School of Hospitality filled the campus with colours, aromas, and celebration through its much-loved Fruit Mixing Ceremony. The room buzzed with excitement as students, faculty, and chefs came together around a beautifully decorated table that showcased the creativity and spirit of the occasion.
A delightful arrangement of candied fruits, nuts, peels, and colourful ingredients stretched across the table—crafted carefully to spell out “TIU WB BHM”. Beside the lettering were vibrant shapes of a Christmas tree, a candy cane, and other festive icons made entirely from dry fruits, creating a stunning visual that instantly set the tone for the season.
Adding to the significance of the event, Prof. Manoshi RoyChowdhury, Hon’ble Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group and Co-Chancellor of TIU, graced the ceremony with her warm presence. Her encouragement uplifted the students’ spirits as she interacted with them, appreciating their creativity and festive enthusiasm. Her presence made the ceremony even more special for the young aspiring chefs.
Surrounded by chef instructors and enthusiastic students in their crisp uniforms and tall chef hats, the atmosphere was a blend of discipline and joy. Bottles of spirits and fruit juices lined the table, ready to infuse the colourful mixture with richness and flavour.

Students tossed and folded the ingredients with excitement, their gloved hands moving in rhythm as they blended textures and aromas.
