The second edition of Sandbox CCU lit up Techno India University with an incredible wave of energy, passion, and innovation. Started on 25th August, the event will continue till 5th September, bringing together brilliant minds over ten exciting days. Day 1 was nothing short of inspiring as participants gathered to brainstorm, collaborate, and reimagine Kolkata’s future.
What made this edition even more special was the presence of a larger number of children compared to the first session. Their fresh perspectives, fearless creativity, and bold ideas added a new spark to the event, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to dreaming big and shaping tomorrow.
The atmosphere on campus was electric—filled with laughter, curiosity, and determination. Participants explored their opportunity domains with an open mind, experimenting with new approaches and pushing the boundaries of imagination. Every corner buzzed with energy as young changemakers teamed up to turn challenges into opportunities.
Sandbox CCU Edition #2 is not just an event; it’s a movement to make Kolkata a better, smarter, and more vibrant city. Organized in collaboration with Techno India Group, The Rebalance Institute, Elseplay and Make Calcutta Relevant Again (MCRA), and guided by Pauline Laravoire, Rohaan Goswami, and Meghdut RoyChowdhury, the initiative aims to inspire a generation of problem-solvers and visionaries.
Day 1 has already set a powerful tone, and the journey ahead promises even more excitement. With so many young minds coming together, the city can look forward to ideas that are not only innovative but also deeply meaningful.
