Ramgarh Engineering College’s TecXhibit-25 Fosters Innovation and Collaboration

The Institution’s Innovation Council of Ramgarh Engineering College, a part of Techno India Group, successfully hosted its flagship event –TecXhibit-25, a grand project exhibition that showcased the innovative spirit and technical excellence of final-year B.Tech students. The event became a platform for students to present their creative solutions and working models to faculty members, industry experts, guests, and peers.

Students from various engineering departments — Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, and Mechanical — came together to present groundbreaking projects. From smart irrigation systems to AI-powered navigation, the ideas on display reflected not only technical skills but also a deep understanding of current global and societal challenges.

The exhibition featured a wide range of projects across trending and impactful domains like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Renewable Energy, Robotics, IoT, VLSI, Smart Agriculture, and Sustainable Construction. These projects included working prototypes, simulations, and design models that spoke volumes about the students’ creativity and hands-on learning.

Principal Dr. Sharbani Roy extended her heartfelt gratitude to all guests and congratulated the participants, appreciating the efforts of the organizing committee for making TecXhibit-25 a grand success.

Vice Principal Dr. Nazmul Islam, in his inspiring words, said,

The event was graced by Mr. Atul Sourav, Training Officer at Gola Tool Room, who appreciated the quality of projects and motivated students to continue aligning their innovations with real-world needs. The presence of academic experts, local industries, and media personnel added further value and visibility to the event.

Some notable projects displayed by the student groups included:

  • Group 1: Planning and Design of Irrigation Canal using GIS techniques
  • Group 2: Experimental Study on Recycled Concrete Aggregate with Bitumen
  • Group 3: Design of a Full Cloverleaf Interchange
  • Group 4: Use of Waste Plastic in Road Construction
  • Group 5: Implementation of VFD Soft Starter using Three-Phase Induction Motor
  • Group 6: Smart Blind Stick for the Visually Impaired

The top three winning projects stole the spotlight:

  • First Prize: AI-Powered Route Navigation System by Barun Kumar Mishra and team
  • Second Prize: Smart Cart with Automatic Billing by Khushe Jha and team
  • Third Prize: Pedal Power Pumping and Water Dropping System by Krishna and team

A special prize was awarded to Aditi Arora for her outstanding research contribution, a proud moment for the entire institution.

Awards were presented in diverse categories such as Best Technical Innovation, Social Impact, Eco-friendly Design, and AI Integration. Selected projects are now set to receive mentorship and funding for further incubation and development.
