Women have been the driving force behind progress in every sphere of life—be it science, education, business, or governance. Their strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit have continuously broken barriers and paved the way for a more inclusive world. International Women’s Day serves as a reminder to celebrate their contributions and advocate for gender equality.
Ramgarh Engineering College (REC), Murubanda, joyfully celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025. Organized by the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), the event honoured the power, resilience, and achievements of women.
The celebration took place on the college campus, with around 100 enthusiastic girl students participating. It began with the Dwip Prajyalan (lamp lighting) ceremony, led by Principal Dr. Sharbani Roy and the respected lady faculty members.
