Ramgarh Engineering College (REC), established by the Government of Jharkhand and run by Techno India Group, was filled with devotion and joy as students and faculty came together to celebrate Saraswati Puja on February 3, 2025. The event, organized by the college’s Saraswati Puja Committee, saw enthusiastic participation from students, professors, and staff members.
The celebrations began in the morning with traditional rituals, as a beautifully decorated idol of Goddess Saraswati was worshipped with great reverence. The campus echoed with the sounds of Vedic mantras, devotional songs, and the rhythmic beats of the dhak. Students, dressed in traditional attire, prayed for wisdom and success in their academic journey.



Faculty members also joined in the prayers and spoke about the significance of education and knowledge. Principal Dr. Sharbani Roy emphasized that Saraswati Puja is not just a religious occasion but also a cultural event that strengthens the bond between students and teachers. Vice Principal Dr. Nazmul Islam praised the students for their efforts and mentioned that the college always supports such positive initiatives.
A cultural program followed the puja, featuring music, dance, and poetry recitations by students. To mark the occasion, the college organized a bhog (community feast), which was served to students and local residents, adding to the festive spirit.



The immersion (visarjan) of Goddess Saraswati’s idol is scheduled for February 5, 2025. The puja was successfully organized by third-year B.Tech students, under the guidance of the faculty members of the Saraswati Puja Committee, which included Dr. Ashish Narayan, Dr. Bagesh Bihari, Mr. Arunabha Dutta, Mr. Nilesh Kumar, Mr. Pallab Das, Mr. Vishal Kumar Saw, Mr. Pijush Mondal, Mr. Pranab Kumar Pandey, Mr. Amit Kumar, Mr. Gourav Dutta, Mr. Shivam Raj, Mr. Sambit Das, Mr. Suvankar Samanta, Mr. Abinaba Biswas, Mrs. Shreosee Bhattacharya, Mrs. Komal Kumari, and Mrs. Ankita Roy.
The Saraswati Puja celebrations at Ramgarh Engineering College reflected the institution’s deep-rooted traditions and commitment to academic excellence, making it a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for everyone.
