Kolkata, December 9, 2024 – The iconic Biswa Bangla Convention Centre in Kolkata played host to the 30th Sahodaya Conference, a landmark event organized by CBSE that brought together over 1,300 principals and educational leaders from across India and international regions, including Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Nepal. The conference served as a dynamic platform to explore transformative ideas shaping the future of education.
Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, proudly represented the institution at this prestigious event, participating in the ceremonial lamp lighting during the inaugural session. Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury further enriched the event by participating as a panelist in a compelling discussion titled “Mental Health and Well-Being: Addressing Social Media Challenges Among Adolescents.” Moderated by Ms. Anjana Saha, Principal of Mahadevi Birla World School, Kolkata, the session featured an esteemed panel including Dr. Paramita Sengupta (AIIMS Kalyani), Dr. Sangeeta Sengupta (Cyber Expert) and Dr. Partha Sarthi Ganguly (Jyotirmoy Education & Welfare Foundation), delivering valuable insights on this critical topic.
The discussion delved into the complexities of social media’s impact on adolescent mental health, addressing issues like cyberbullying, fostering digital literacy, and creating safe spaces for emotional expression.
