The speeches, the applause, and the walk across the stage to receive their degrees brought a flood of memories from their time at the university. After serving as their home for many years, the campus began to hold special memories for them. Priya, a graduate in the biology, stated, “I’m going to miss the little things—the walks around campus, the coffee breaks between classes, the surprise hangouts.”
The graduates expressed a mixture of enthusiasm and nervousness about entering working life in the future.
