Organised by GDG on Campus Techno Main Salt Lake in collaboration with Fujifilm X | GFX and the Techno Main BMS Department, the workshop offered participants an opportunity to explore the art and technical aspects of photography.
The immersive session focused on helping participants develop a more thoughtful approach to photography by understanding how composition and lighting can transform an ordinary scene into a compelling visual story. Participants explored key concepts such as perspective, depth, balance, framing and lighting, gaining practical insights into how different techniques can influence the mood, impact and narrative of an image.
The workshop featured valuable guidance from Anoop Guha, Ambassador at Fujifilm, and Aritra Das, Fujifilm X-Photographer, Trainer and Mentor. The event also demonstrated how photography can be more than simply capturing a moment. With the right understanding of composition, light and perspective, a photograph can communicate an idea, evoke an emotion and tell a story.
Through collaborations such as GDG on Campus Techno Main Salt Lake × Fujifilm X | GFX × Techno Main BMS Department, TMSL continues to encourage students to learn, experiment and discover new perspectives. The workshop added another meaningful chapter to the institution’s journey of creating engaging learning experiences that go beyond conventional academic boundaries.
