Kolkata, April 4, 2026 — Techno India University transformed into a hub of innovation and excitement as TechXtreme 3.0, organized by Google Developer Groups on Campus, brought together some of the brightest young minds for a day that perfectly blended technology, creativity, and collaboration. As the official prelude to DevX 2.0 (2026), the event didn’t just meet expectations—it elevated them.
With 200+ registrations and over 25 teams competing, the energy was palpable from the very beginning. The event kicked off with an interactive icebreaker session that quickly turned strangers into teammates, setting the tone for a day driven by connection, curiosity, and competition.
The spotlight, however, belonged to the electrifying “Hack & Hunt”—a unique, tech-powered scavenger hunt that turned the entire campus into a live challenge arena. QR codes hidden across academic corridors, open spaces, and common areas became gateways to a series of cleverly designed riddles and technical problems. Participants raced across locations, decoded clues, and unlocked challenges, making every moment a thrilling mix of strategy, speed, and skill.

At the G-Series Seminar Hall, the intensity peaked as teams battled against time to climb the leaderboard. It wasn’t just about solving problems—it was about thinking fast, working smart, and staying in sync as a team. The winners emerged not only with trophies and medals but with the pride of mastering one of the most engaging formats the campus has seen.
The event was further elevated by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. Ishan Ghosh and Dr. Rina Paladhi, whose encouragement and recognition added to the significance of the occasion as they felicitated the winners.
A defining highlight of the day was the much-awaited trailer launch of DevX 2.0 (2026) – a moment that sparked excitement and anticipation across the audience. With domains ranging from AI/ML and Cybersecurity to Web Development, IoT, Blockchain, and DSA, the upcoming fest promises to be bigger, bolder, and more impactful, offering students a platform to innovate, compete, and grow.
As the sun set, the energy seamlessly shifted from tech to talent. The closing segment came alive with vibrant cultural performances – dance, music, guitar, poetry, and fun contests – turning the event into a celebration of both intellect and creativity.
Behind this dynamic experience was a passionate team led by Krish Goenka, supported by a dedicated core group whose tireless efforts ensured every detail came together flawlessly.
TechXtreme 3.0 broke past the idea of a typical tech event—it sparked conversations, forged real connections, and laid the groundwork for a bigger, bolder DevX 2.0.
