The spirit of Christmas filled the air on December 20, 2024, TISDPS Guptipara organized a delightful picnic in the lush green expanse of the school campus. The day was a perfect blend of fun, laughter, and connection with nature, providing students and teachers a much-needed break from their daily routines.
Preparations for the picnic had begun a week earlier, with students and teachers collaborating to decorate the playground. Christmas-themed decorations, including a beautifully adorned Christmas tree and a Santa Claus model, brought the festive spirit alive. The celebration was further enhanced by creative displays depicting the birth of Jesus Christ.
The day began with the morning assembly, after which students were given instructions and escorted to the vibrant picnic ground. Exciting rides like the Mickey Mouse slide and trampoline turned the field into a carnival, adding to the joy of the day.

Various activities kept everyone engaged. The youngest students dazzled in a ramp walk, dressed in colorful outfits, cheered on by their peers. Senior students enjoyed games, antakshari, and music, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere.
A delicious lunch brought everyone together, adding warmth and camaraderie to the event. The senior students, especially those in Class X, cherished the moments, realizing it was their last Christmas picnic at the school.
Teachers joined in the festivities, dancing, singing, and playing games alongside the students. Their care and enthusiasm added a special touch to the day.
As the event came to an end, students and teachers exchanged heartfelt wishes of “Merry Christmas,” carrying home cherished memories of a day filled with joy and togetherness. The picnic was truly a celebration of life, learning, and the spirit of Christmas.
