At Techno India Group Public School, Garia community service is not just an activity — it is a value deeply woven into the fabric of student life. This spirit came alive once again as the members of our school’s Rotary Interact Club, Prayas, embarked on a thoughtful outreach programme to support the young learners of Binapani Sukumar Sikshasadan, a neighboring school with less privileged students.
What unfolded that day was more than an act of giving — it was a beautiful exchange of warmth, curiosity and shared joy.
Our Interact Club students reached the school with a clear purpose:Â connect for good, connect for education and connect to embrace one another. They carried with them not just food items like chocolates and cakes or pencil boxes filled with essential stationeries, but also a genuine desire to make learning a little brighter for their young friends.
The students of Classes I to IV at Binapani Sukumar Sikshasadan, along with their teachers and Principal, welcomed the team with heartwarming enthusiasm. Their smiles and eagerness made every moment special.

One of the most meaningful parts of the programme was the initiative to set up a library corner in each classroom. Our students had collected storybooks, Math and Science books, and handed them over to the school authorities to help build a small yet impactful reservoir of knowledge. This gesture aimed to ensure that every child, regardless of background, gets the chance to read, imagine and grow.
The visit was as joyful as it was purposeful. Fun riddles and engaging games filled the room with laughter. The students of Binapani Sukumar Sikshasadan also presented energetic dance performances and heartfelt recitations, which our students enjoyed immensely. The connection felt genuine — young minds bonding not through privilege or difference, but through shared delight and mutual respect.
This experience strengthened the Interact Club’s dedication to serving the community. It also reminded our entire school family that even the simplest act of kindness has the power to bring immense joy to others. The donation drive was a reflection of teamwork, compassion and the values we hope every student carries with them into the wider world.
Programmes like these teach our young learners that empathy and responsibility are not concepts found in textbooks — they are lived through action. And sometimes, a pencil box, a shared laugh or a donated book can leave a lasting imprint on both the giver and the receiver.
At Techno India Group Public School, we believe that these small seeds of kindness will grow into strong values that shape the citizens of tomorrow. And through Prayas, our students continue to prove that meaningful change begins with a single, heartfelt step.
