“Recharge and Rise” unfolded on 18 November 2025 at TopCat CCU as a heartfelt step toward supporting the emotional and mental wellness of the Techno India Group Schools’ workforce. As a mental-health initiative rooted in care and community, Monoshij views workshops like these as essential—not just as programmes, but as meaningful pauses in the rhythm of demanding professional lives.
The vision behind the event was inspired by the continual encouragement of Prof. Manoshi Roy Chowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group and the Founder of Monoshij. Her belief in holistic well-being has shaped many such initiatives across the Group. This workshop, in particular, carried forward that mission by creating a warm, reflective, and supportive environment for employees.
The session opened with grounding, movement-based activities that helped participants shift attention away from the day’s pressures and reconnect with their bodies. As the room settled into ease, attendees were guided through reflections on their daily routines—revealing unnoticed stress points, emotional drains, and patterns that often go unacknowledged in fast-paced work settings.
A key part of the workshop focused on understanding energy—what depletes it, what restores it, and how protecting emotional bandwidth can significantly transform the workplace experience. The conversation around personal boundaries became an anchor point, sparking honest discussion about miscommunication, overwhelm, and the silent strain that unclear limits often create in teams.

Art-based and playful team activities added an uplifting dimension to the day. These exercises highlighted the role of personal accountability and illuminated how shifting from blame to ownership strengthens collaboration. A thoughtful segment on team and personal values encouraged participants to reflect on the alignments—and gaps—that shape their daily interactions.
As the day drew to a close, a calming visualization and self-compassion exercise invited participants to release tension and reconnect with inner calm. The experience left many feeling emotionally lighter and more grounded. The final sharing circle brought rich insights as employees voiced their takeaways, along with one positive behavioural change they wished to implement within their teams.
Throughout the workshop, carefully curated music added warmth and rhythm, creating an atmosphere where openness and connection could naturally emerge.

Why These Workshops Matter
In Monoshij’s view, emotional wellness is not an optional addition to organisational life—it is foundational. Modern workplaces demand high levels of energy, empathy, and adaptability, making burnout and emotional fatigue increasingly common. Initiatives like “Recharge and Rise” offer employees the chance to pause, reflect, and learn tools that foster resilience.
Research continually shows that mental well-being directly strengthens teamwork, productivity, communication, and problem-solving. Recognising this connection, Monoshij is committed to creating regular opportunities for healing, growth, and self-awareness across the Techno India Group.
“Recharge and Rise” stands as a reminder that when employees feel supported, the entire institution rises with them—and that emotional wellness is a collective responsibility worth nurturing every day.
