A Day of Culture and Inspiration: École Intuit Lab Students Explore the Indian Museum

For the first-year students of École Intuit Lab, Techno India University, October 30, 2025, was far from an ordinary college day. It was a day to step out of the classroom and into history itself — to see, feel, and experience creativity in its rawest form. Their visit to the Indian Museum, one of Asia’s oldest and most treasured cultural landmarks, turned into a vibrant exploration of art, heritage, and imagination.

The moment they entered the museum’s majestic halls, curiosity came alive. Surrounded by centuries-old sculptures, paintings, coins, and artifacts, the students found themselves walking through time — where every piece told a story of human innovation and emotion.

From the awe of standing before ancient stone carvings and Egyptian mummies to admiring intricate textiles and tribal artworks, the museum became a living canvas for inspiration. Many students eagerly sketched, photographed, and discussed how history and design intertwine.

“Seeing these artifacts in person makes history feel alive,” one student shared. “It’s not just about observing — it’s about understanding where ideas come from and how culture shapes creativity.”

For these young designers, the visit wasn’t simply an academic activity — it was an awakening. It reminded them that creativity doesn’t exist in isolation; it draws strength from the heritage and stories that precede it. As one faculty member beautifully put it, “Design is not created in isolation. When students witness real textures, colors, and craftsmanship, they learn to think with depth, context, and empathy.”

As they moved from gallery to gallery, conversations flowed — about symbolism, art forms, and the connection between the ancient and the modern. The day ended not just with photographs and notes, but with a sense of wonder — a spark that would continue to influence their creative journey.

The experience reminded everyone that learning doesn’t always happen behind a desk. Sometimes, it’s found in the quiet gaze of a sculpture or the delicate pattern of a centuries-old fabric. For the students of École Intuit Lab, this museum visit became a bridge between the past and the future — a reminder that inspiration often begins with awareness, curiosity, and a willingness to look beyond the surface.
