Celebrating Success, Inspiring Futures: Felicitation 3.0 at Chaibasa Engineering College

On June 20, 2025, Chaibasa Engineering College, a part of Techno India Group, organized the third edition of its Placed Students Felicitation Program 3.0, a special event to honor the achievements of students who successfully secured jobs through campus placements. Hosted by the Training & Placement Cell, the program celebrated not only the students but also those who guided and supported them throughout the placement journey.

What made this year’s celebration even more special was the inclusion of first-year students. They got a glimpse of what lies ahead by listening to the inspiring journeys of their seniors. These stories encouraged them to aim high and understand how the college’s Training & Placement Cell plays a vital role in shaping career paths.

The SPRs for the Placement Batch of 2025 were:
Shalinee Muskan, Sandeep Kumar Mahto, Muskan Kumari, Alok Kumar Singh, Piyush Pratap, Tapamay, Suhani Kumari, Imran Ansari, Rupal Rani, Ramlakhan Mahto and Praveen Mahato. These students served as a link between their peers and the Training & Placement Cell, playing a key role in the success of the process.

The event featured speeches by Heads of Departments and Faculty Placement Coordinators. The Faculty Coordinators included Prof. Tanmay Das from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Prof. Souvik De from Electronics and Communication Engineering, Prof. Arijit Dutta from Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Dhananjay Kumar from Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Shiv Kumar from Civil Engineering. They congratulated the students and presented them with certificates and gifts to recognize their hard work and dedication. Since the event was held just a day before the final academic day for the outgoing batch, it also served as an informal farewell, filled with pride and emotion.

A special note of thanks was extended to Sri Pulastya Pandey, the Placement Cell Coordinator from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, for his consistent support throughout the placement season. Appreciation also went to all the Student Placement Representatives (SPRs), who worked diligently to ensure smooth coordination during the placement drives.

The Principal-in-Charge and Professor-in-Charge of Training & Placement, Prof. Debabrata Raha, addressed the students and said: “To our students who have secured job offers—congratulations! Your hard work has paid off, and we are incredibly proud of you. To those still on their placement journey, we have full confidence that your moment is just around the corner. Keep pushing forward!”

The event, being the last formal occasion for many students, was not only a celebration but also a moment of reflection and motivation. It encouraged younger students to start preparing early and to develop the right skills to achieve success in future campus placements.
