Kolkata just got a serious power-up! Techno India University, in collaboration with NoScope Gaming, is hosting the National Finals of the University Esports Championship (UEC) 2025—India’s biggest college-level gaming competition. From August 3rd to 5th, the campus will transform into a digital battlefield where the top 16 university teams from across India will compete for a massive ₹7 lakh prize pool!
Whether it’s PC, Console, Mobile, or VR—this tournament has it all. UEC is the only Indian esports championship that includes all major gaming platforms, making it the ultimate playground for the country’s most talented student gamers.
Over 20,000 students from 12 cities joined the qualifiers. Now, it’s down to the best of the best. Teams from top institutions like SRM University, VIT, LPU, Jadavpur University, NIT Calicut, and Techno India University itself are all set to show their gaming skills live in Kolkata.
But that’s not all—UEC 2025 will also host the India Finals of the World Tennis Esports Championship (WTEC) in VR! The winner will go on to represent India at the Global Finals in Las Vegas, with all travel and stay expenses covered—and a chance to win a $100,000 prize!
