Code Arena 2025: A Celebration of Coding Talent at Chaibasa Engineering College

The much-awaited Code Arena 2025 – Phase I was successfully conducted on February 8, 2025, at Chaibasa Engineering College, Jharkhand, part of the Techno India Group. The event, organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), provided a platform for students to showcase their coding skills and problem-solving abilities.

With over 60 participants from the 2022-26 batch, the competition witnessed great enthusiasm and a high level of technical expertise. The event was coordinated by Prof. Krishna Kant Prasad, with the valuable support of faculty members, volunteers, and students. Prof. Bias Bhadra (HoD, CSE) and Prof. Arijit Dutta, AP, CSE led the initiative, ensuring the event’s success.

The competition was further strengthened by the guidance of Prof. Debabrata Raha (Principal-In-Charge), who delivered an inspiring speech during the inauguration. He emphasized the importance of competitive programming in today’s technology-driven world.

The Code Arena 2K25 was structured into two rounds:

  1. First Round – Participants solved basic coding problems to test their foundational programming skills.
  2. Final Round – Competitors tackled moderately difficult problems, requiring strong logical reasoning and efficient coding techniques.

Each participant competed individually, and their solutions were evaluated based on accuracy, efficiency, and execution time.

The competition was intense, with participants showcasing exceptional coding expertise. A panel of expert judges carefully reviewed and assessed each submission. The event not only tested technical abilities but also promoted peer learning, critical thinking, and the application of advanced coding strategies, making it a truly enriching experience for all.

Winners and Recognition

After two rounds of problem-solving, the top three winners were announced:

πŸ† First Place – Vishal Kumar Mahto (CSE, 2022-26)
πŸ₯ˆ Second Place – Anil Mahato (CSE, 2022-26)
