Techno India Group Public School Nabagram Celebrates 15 Years of Excellence

Techno India Group Public School Nabagram marked its fifteenth anniversary with a grand celebration on Friday, February 13th, 2025. The school grounds buzzed with excitement as students, parents, faculty, and distinguished guests gathered to commemorate this milestone.

The event was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Goutam Roychowdhury, Chairman of Techno India Group and Chancellor of Techno India University, as the Chief Guest, and Professor Manoshi Roy Chowdhury, Co-chairman of Techno India Group, as the Guest of Honor. Also in attendance were Professor Dr. Sujoy Biswas, CEO & Director of Techno India University, Mr. A.K Roy, Vice Chairman of Techno India Group, along with Managing Committee members, including Mr. Pranab Chatterjee and Mr. Surjendu Sarkar Pal, and numerous other dignitaries.

The celebration commenced with a traditional welcome of the guests, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Professor Manoshi Roy Chowdhury, Principal Sujit Kumar Jana, and other dignitaries. The school anthem filled the air, followed by a tilak ceremony and formal felicitation of the guests.

Principal Jana presented the school’s impressive achievements over the past academic year in his annual report. Students who excelled in academics and extracurricular activities were then recognized for their accomplishments by Mr. Biswas and Mr. Jana. Special recognition was given to students who achieved outstanding results in the AISSC and AISSCE examinations from 2016 to 2024, as well as those who demonstrated exceptional talent in Arts, Athletics, and Martial Arts.

The evening’s cultural program was a vibrant tapestry of talent and creativity. The audience was captivated by performances ranging from the patriotic musical rendition “ARUNADAY” to the thought-provoking play “PANCHABHOOTANAM”, which explored the interconnectedness of life and nature. The poignant performance “KANGALI” resonated deeply with the audience, while “GOLDEN NOTES” paid tribute to musical legends. “Maharaja Tomare Selam” celebrated the genius of Satyajit Ray, and the grand finale, “Mile Sur Mera Tumhara”, showcased India’s rich cultural heritage through a mesmerizing dance performance.

Professor Manoshi Roy Chowdhury shared her reflections on the school’s journey since its inception, while Mr. Biswas inspired the students with a powerful message about the importance of resilience and determination.

It’s a celebration of the dedicated teachers, the enthusiastic students, and the supportive parents who have all contributed to making Techno India Group Public School a place where learning thrives and legacies are built. We stand together, proud of what we have accomplished and excited for what the future holds”, Prof. Manoshi Roy Chowdhury expressed.

In the inter-house competition for the 2024-25 academic year, Teresa House emerged victorious, with Netaji House as the runner-up. The house masters and mistresses were acknowledged for their dedication and hard work.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Coordinator Sulagna Roy Goswami, who, along with Students’ Coordinator Abhra Banerjee, served as the program convenor. The cultural program was expertly guided by Activity teachers Paramita Das Patra and Anirban Deb. The event was skillfully anchored by Bipasa Mitra, Basari Chatterjee, and students Samadrita Mandal and Avisha Singh, along with Debabrata Bagchi, who also oversaw script development and anchor direction.

The evening concluded with the National Anthem, leaving a lasting impression of the school’s commitment to holistic education and its vibrant community spirit. The fifteenth annual day celebration was a resounding success, marking another milestone in the school’s journey of excellence.
