Techno Kids celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 25th January with immense enthusiasm, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Though the event had only 30 tiny participants, all aged three to four years, the excitement of 60 parents cheering them on made it a grand occasion.
The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Co-Chairperson, Prof. Manoshi RoyChowdhury, as the Chief Guest. Sharing her experience, she expressed how this event stood out among the many she attends throughout the year. Reflecting on the event, Manoshi RoyChowdhury shared, “It’s easy to teach math and English, but teaching empathy, kindness, and generosity—that’s what shapes the kind of person and leader they’ll become. At Techno Kids, I’m proud that we are nurturing them the right way.”
The little athletes, full of energy and curiosity, were guided by their dedicated teachers, who ran alongside them, ensuring they stayed on track. Every race and activity was filled with enthusiasm, making it a delightful sight for all.

A heart warming moment took place during the medal ceremony. A little girl, who won the silver medal, was visibly upset because she wanted the gold—her favourite colour. While teachers tried to comfort her by encouraging her to try harder next time, the boy who won gold simply handed over his medal and said, “Oh, you want gold. Take it. But stop crying.” This simple act of kindness demonstrated the pure-hearted generosity of young minds.
Another special moment unfolded when the same little girl, now in a playful mood, climbed onto Manoshi Ma’am’s lap to reach a plate of chips. Realizing she hadn’t washed her hands, she quickly ran to clean them and then returned—not just to eat, but to share the chips with the teachers, parents, and even Ma’am herself. Such small gestures reflect the values of empathy and generosity being nurtured at Techno Kids.
The sportsmanship wasn’t limited to the children. During the parents’ race, a father fell and injured his knee. Before anyone else could react, a little boy rushed to him, placed his tiny hand on the injury, and asked, “Are you okay?” This moment reinforced the essence of Techno Kids—not just about learning numbers and alphabets, but about growing into compassionate human beings.

In addition to the children’s events, games were organized for the parents, adding to the joy of the day. The parents participated with great enthusiasm, reliving their childhood moments and enjoying friendly competition. Their excitement and laughter made the event even more special, creating a strong sense of community and togetherness.
The Annual Sports Day at Techno Kids was not just about winning races; it was about learning, sharing, and caring—values that will stay with these young children for a lifetime.
