Techno India University Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Unsung Heroes

United in Diversity, Strengthened by the Constitution.

Techno India University celebrated the 76th Republic Day with pride and enthusiasm on 26th January 2025, honouring the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The event, graced by the presence of Prof. Manoshi RoyChowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, embraced the inspiring theme, “Republic Day is Made of Real Public,” shedding light on unsung heroes whose extraordinary contributions embody the true spirit of a republic.

The celebration featured three remarkable individuals who shared their inspiring journeys. Pathikrit Saha, who left a secure government job to educate and feed underprivileged children, spoke about his dedication to serving society. Megh Sayantani Ghosh, India’s first transgender lawyer, shared her story of breaking barriers and fighting for equality. Joydip Kundu, a wildlife conservationist and artist, inspired everyone with his passion for protecting nature. Their stories of courage, resilience, and compassion encouraged students and faculty to reflect on the power of service and inclusivity.

It also showcased the vibrant talents of Techno India University students, who performed captivating dance and singing acts. These performances added colour and energy to the celebration, symbolizing the transformative power of education in shaping future leaders.

The event was a beautiful reminder that the true spirit of the republic lies in individuals who, through their selfless acts and dedication, work towards a better and more inclusive society. The university continues to be a platform that encourages students to pursue excellence, make a difference, and become agents of change in their communities.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Manoshi RoyChowdhury stressed the need to build values like inclusiveness and helping others. She said the university is dedicated to supporting students so they can make a difference in society and bring positive changes. Everyone was motivated by the tales of these “Real public” heroes after the day’s festivities. The university promised to keep encouraging its students to be creative, kind, and socially conscious.

The Republic Day celebrations concluded on a high note, with a renewed sense of patriotism and a commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive India. The messages of courage, service, and inclusivity shared by the day’s speakers and performers left a lasting impression on everyone present.
