On 22nd January 2025, Techno India Group Public School, Mankundu, came alive with joy and celebration as it hosted its highly anticipated Annual Cultural Programme, “Manzil – Our Dream Destination,” at the school ground. This event was particularly special as it marked the first time in 17 years that the school could host its annual function on its very own premises—a dream come true for the entire TIGPS Mankundu family. The evening was a grand celebration of student talent, perseverance, and creativity, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all attendees.
The event was graced by the presence of several eminent personalities. The esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Mrinal Chakraborty, a renowned motivational speaker and mental toughness trainer, inspired the audience with his powerful speech on perseverance and determination. His words encouraged the students to dream big and work hard to achieve their goals.
The Guest of Honour, Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, gave an inspiring speech about the importance of overall education and how cultural activities help build future leaders. Her words encouraged both students and parents. “We were overjoyed to witness a dream nurtured for 17 long years come to fruition. Under the dynamic leadership of Ms. Paromita Banerjee and her dedicated team, the Annual Cultural Programme 2025 at Techno India Group Public School, Mankundu, became a truly landmark event. For the very first time, this grand celebration was hosted on our school premises. At Techno India Group, we firmly believe in fostering an environment that encourages holistic growth—one that nurtures not just academic excellence, but also creative expression, leadership, and confidence. Distinguished dignitaries graced the event, including Mr. Meghdut Roy Chowdhury, Chief Innovation Officer, Techno India Group; Ms. Pauline Laravoire, Sustainability Director, Y-East Techno India Group; Mr. Pritam Singh, former CBSE Central Director; and Mr. Debasish Das, Scout Commissioner. The cultural programme commenced with ‘Dhuun’, a delightful symphony that set the tone for the evening. This was followed by ‘Carvaan’, an opera of Octavos, which captivated the audience with its intricate musical and theatrical elements. One of the most awaited moments was the launch of ‘Raga Rebels,’ the school’s very own Indo-Western band. The band’s performance was a testament to the students’ musical prowess and creative spirit.
The evening unfolded with a series of breath taking performances. Students showcased their talents through classical and contemporary dances, musical renditions, and stage acts. Each performance was thoughtfully crafted around themes such as Celebrating Shakti, Women Empowerment, and Connecting Cultures, resonating deeply with the audience. The school’s Principal, Mrs. Paromita Banerjee, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the guests, parents, faculty members, and students for their unwavering support and enthusiasm.
