Kolkata, December 16, 2024: After six exhilarating days of fierce competition, camaraderie, and breathtaking performances, the 4th edition of Techno Olympica Knights (TOK) concluded with a grand celebration that echoed the spirit of sportsmanship and unity.
The closing ceremony, graced by Mr. Yogesh Kathuniya, Indian Paralympic athlete and Arjuna Awardee, and Shri Hansi Premjit Sen, President of the Karate Association of Bengal, was a fitting tribute to the efforts of these young athletes. The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, who emphasized the transformative power of sports in building confidence, nurturing teamwork, and promoting mental well-being.
Every competition, from fierce badminton waves to thrilling football games, was a tribute to the players’ unwavering spirit. One of the most inspiring stories was that of Smt. Diya Roy, a student of TIGPS Konnagar, who recently secured gold and silver medals at the 11th Commonwealth Karate Championship in Durban, South Africa. Her remarkable achievements, under the mentorship of Shri Hansi Premjit Sen, became a beacon of hope and motivation for her fellow athletes.
The competition reached its peak with schools delivering outstanding performances and securing top positions:

South Point High School emerged as the overall champion with an impressive 89 points, lifting the Champion Trophy and setting a benchmark of excellence. - 2nd Position: Garden High School
Garden High School secured 57 points, earning the 1st Runners-Up Trophy through consistent performances and unyielding spirit. - 3rd Position: Sakhawat Memorial Govt. Girls High School
With 54 points, Sakhawat Memorial Govt. Girls High School claimed the 2nd Runners-Up Trophy, showcasing their grit and determination. - 4th Position: DPS, Mega City
DPS Mega City delivered stellar performances with 49 points, earning the 4th Position Trophy and excelling as winners and runners-up across several categories.
