TMSL Students Excel at National-Level Coding Boot Camp Organized by ISI

Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL) students have made the institution extremely proud by performing exceptionally well at the renowned “Coding & Analytical Problem Solving” boot camp. From November 4–9, 2024, the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, collaborated to organise the event.

Competing against some of the top institutes in the country, students shown exceptional skills and determination, securing both the 2nd and 3rd positions in the event.

Arnab Gupta, Chandika Sarkar, Saheli Majumder and Sanchari Roy, who were all in the fifth semester of the Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) program, were part of the team that came in second. Their diligence and creative thinking were significant and they were sincerely honoured.

The 3rd position was secured by another talented group comprising Srinjoy Sen Chowdhury, Saranya Adhikary, Olivia Chatterjee, and Arpita Sarkar, all 5th-semester students from the Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) program. Their ability to solve complex problems under pressure highlighted their technical expertise and teamwork.

The Department of CSE (AI & ML) and CSE (DS), along with the entire Techno India family, celebrated this incredible achievement. This victory not only reflects the academic rigor and guidance provided by the faculty but also underscores the students’ dedication and perseverance.

This success is a result of the students’ hard work and the encouraging atmosphere that all of the educators at TMSL have created. Their achievements are evidence of the institute’s ongoing efforts to develop talent and promote involvement in demanding academic activities.
