Bhubaneswar, November 27, 2024 – The ASSOCHAM Education Summit 2024, themed Education 5.0: Paving the Path to Future-Ready Skills and Innovation, brought together some of the most visionary minds in education for a day filled with inspiration, enriching conversations, and shared purpose. Held in Bhubaneswar, the summit emphasized the transformative potential of education in preparing students for the dynamic challenges of the future.
The prestigious event witnessed participation from eminent dignitaries, including Shri Nityananda Gond, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Department of School and Mass Education, Govt. of Odisha; Shri Kali Prasanna Mohapatra, IAS, Director, Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha; Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS; Mr. Ramprasad Ghosh, Executive Director at PwC; and Chairman of Kalinga Group of Institutions, among others. The presence of these luminaries set the stage for thought-provoking discussions on the future of education and innovation.


Techno India Group (TIG) had a momentous day, receiving two significant honours:
- Best STEM Education Award: Techno India Group Public School (TIGPS) Ariadaha was recognized for its innovative integration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) into education, inspiring curiosity and fostering problem-solving skills.
- Best Upcoming B-School Award: Asmi Business School was lauded for its ground-breaking strides in business education and its commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent.
Speaking about the awards, Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, remarked, “These recognitions are not just milestones but affirmations of our vision to empower students with skills for tomorrow. The summit featured engaging panel discussions, including one on Education and Industry: Paving the Path to Future-Ready Skills and Innovation, where Prof. Roychowdhury shared insights on the critical role of mental wellness and creative outlets like art, music, and sports in fostering emotional well-being.

“Nearly 40% of audience questions revolved around mental health, social media pressures, and the need for a holistic educational approach,” Prof. Roychowdhury noted. “This growing awareness is a promising step toward redefining education.”
