It’s a proud moment for Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL) as Team Elite emerged victorious at Codeutsava 8.0, a major hackathon hosted by NIT Raipur on October 26-27, 2024. Competing against over 3,200 teams nationwide, Team Elite—led by Ankit Kumar Gupta (CSE-DS, 5th Semester), along with Anushka Singh (CSE-DS), Sumit Kumar (CSE-DS), and Rishav Raj (CSE-BS), all from 5th semester—took home a cash prize of Rs. 10,000. The team was guided by their mentor, Dr. Ritamshirsa Choudhuri, Assistant Professor of CSE-DS.
Team Elite faced 38 chosen teams in the final round, 20 of which were from the best NITs and IITs. They had to address challenges under pressure during a 28-hour coding marathon as part of the event. Because of their outstanding work ethic and calm mind, Team Elite stood out and won first place. The CSE-AIML, CSE-DS departments, and the entire TMSL community are thrilled by their achievement.
