Teacher’s Day is a cherished occasion that celebrates the dedication, commitment, and passion of teachers who shape the future by guiding and inspiring students. This year, Techno India Group Public School (TIGPS), Nabagram, hosted a joyful and spirited Teacher’s Day celebration, blending creativity, gratitude, and fun in a series of memorable activities.
The day commenced promptly at 8:45 am with a vibrant assembly in the school courtyard, where students, teachers, and staff gathered, radiating enthusiasm and joy. The assembly set a positive tone for the day, with everyone in high spirits. Following the assembly, students eagerly returned to their classrooms for an exciting session of Non-flame cooking during the class teacher period. Students from various grades showcased their culinary creativity, preparing easy-to-make, fire-free dishes. The delightful activity brought laughter and teamwork, with students joyfully collaborating to create delicious and innovative treats.
A highlight of the day followed with a playful and engaging role-reversal segment. Senior students were given the unique opportunity to step into the shoes of the school Principal, Coordinators, and teachers. Taking on these roles, the senior students managed school activities and taught their juniors. This role-play exercise provided a fun yet meaningful experience, allowing the students to gain an appreciation for the hard work and responsibilities that come with these leadership positions. The lighthearted atmosphere added to the excitement of the day.
As the classroom sessions concluded, students who were not participating in the upcoming cultural program were dismissed. At 11:15 am, the much-anticipated cultural program began in the school auditorium. The program showcased an array of vibrant performances, from dance to music and drama, all revolving around the central theme of appreciating the vital role teachers play in shaping the future. Each performance was met with applause and admiration from the audience, highlighting the enthusiasm and creativity of the students.
At 12:15 pm, the cultural program transitioned into the Felicitation ceremony, led by the honourable Principal of TIGPS Nabagram, Mr. Sujit Kumar Jana. In his heartfelt speech, Mr. Jana expressed his sincere appreciation for the tireless efforts of the teachers. He spoke passionately about the essential role teachers play in nurturing young minds, guiding them toward academic and personal success. Following his speech, teachers were honoured with tokens of appreciation, a symbol of the school’s gratitude for their dedication and contribution to the students and the institution.
The day’s celebrations concluded with a lunch served to all staff members. This shared meal provided a relaxed and joyous moment for the teachers to unwind, reflect on the day, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes the school community special.
