August 2024 – Ecole Intuit Lab Kolkata and Techno India University were proud participants at the Annual International Career & College Counselling (IC3) Conference & Expo held in August 2024. The IC3 Conference is a premier event that brings together high schools and higher education representatives from around the globe for an interactive dialogue on career and college counselling practices.
This year’s theme, “From Competition to Competence,” guided the discourse, focusing on empowering counsellors, school leaders, teachers, university leaders, university admission representatives, and educational organizations to learn, connect, and build meaningful relationships. The conference featured several insightful sub-themes, including:
- The impact of counselling on learning outcomes
- Foundations, Trends & Ethics
- Compassion & Mindfulness in Counselling
- Failure as a Teacher
- Empowering School-Based Counselling
- University Enrolment Management as a Counselling Function
- TED-like Talks
Delegates were also given the opportunity to participate in pre-conference workshops tailored to their experience levels, focusing on best practices in career and college counselling. This initiative was part of IC3’s commitment to making professional development accessible to deserving counsellors from under-resourced schools through the IC3 Scholarship Program.
In addition to the main conference events, participating universities, including Ecole Intuit Lab Kolkata and Techno India University, engaged in interactive sessions with host schools, further strengthening the collaboration between educational institutions.
