Techno India University to Host Crucial Debate on AI Education and Future Job Prospects

Techno India University is set to host a pivotal debate on “No AI education = No jobs in the future?” The event is scheduled for September 14, 2024, starting at 2:30 p.m. at the university’s seminar hall located on the ground floor.

This timely discussion stems from findings in the Korn Ferry Report, which forecasts that 85 million jobs could remain unfilled by 2030 due to a lack of skilled professionals. This alarming statistic propels the urgency of the debate, questioning whether the integration of AI education is now essential for securing future employment.

Techno India University addresses this challenge by launching a UGC dual degree program designed to enhance student skills in AI alongside their current studies. This initiative ensures that graduates are not only academically equipped but also ready to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving job market.

The debate will feature a distinguished panel of professionals, including Dr. Kunal Sarkar, Senior Vice Chairman and Head of Cardiac Surgery at Medica Superspecialty Hospital; Debashis Sen, former IAS officer and current CMD at HIDCO; Amrita Dutta, an eminent singer; and Koushik Halder, Head of Education in Emerging Technology & Information Security at WBEL. Moderating the panel will be Dr. Sujoy Biswas, Director and CEO of the Techno India Group.

Students from the university, including Arunangshu Halder, Angelina Goswami, Aditya Chakraborty, and Sreshtha Basu Roy Chowdhury, will also participate in the debate, providing a platform for diverse perspectives on the topic.

Attendees are encouraged to join the discussion and explore whether the skills crisis is a reality or if there is more to the story. For more information, contact the provided helpline at 08062642222 or scan the QR code to register for the event.
