TIU’s Khushi Singh Secures Silver at 21st WMF Championship in Bangkok

Not long ago, Techno India University celebrated Khushi Singh’s remarkable triumph at the ISKA Open International Championship, where she proved her mettle among top fighters with grit and fearless determination.

Now, she has taken that momentum to an even greater stage.

Khushi Singh, a student of BBA 3C, recently represented India at the 21st WMF World Muay Thai Championship, held in Bangkok from 10th to 19th March 2026, and secured a Silver Medal in the Female -51 kg pro-amateur category. Competing against elite fighters from across the globe, she demonstrated exceptional skill, endurance, and composure under pressure, holding her ground in a highly competitive international arena.

What makes this achievement even more special is the journey behind it. Transitioning from one international victory to another is never easy – it demands rigorous training, mental resilience, and the ability to constantly evolve. Khushi’s performance in Bangkok reflects not just her technical excellence in Muay Thai, but also her discipline, focus, and unwavering commitment to her sport.

Her consistent rise on the global stage highlights the spirit of a true athlete – someone who does not settle after a victory but pushes forward to achieve more. Each match she fights, each platform she steps onto, adds to a growing legacy that inspires those around her.

For Khushi, her coach Lionel Hupping has been a constant pillar of support throughout her journey. As the Founder and Head Coach of Supremacy India Muay Thai and a champion fighter himself, his guidance, belief, and rigorous training have helped her grow stronger with every step, both mentally and physically, on her path to the international stage.

For the Techno India University community, Khushi’s achievement is more than just a medal – it is a symbol of perseverance and possibility. It reminds students that with dedication and passion, boundaries can be crossed and dreams can take shape on the world stage.

As she continues her journey, one thing is certain – this is not the peak, but another milestone in a path filled with even greater possibilities.

Heartiest congratulations to Khushi Singh for bringing pride to the university and the nation once again.
