SOF Students Level Up Their Communication Skills at Monoshij’s Assertiveness Workshop

Students from the School of Future, ASMi Business School, recently wrapped up a two-day workshop by Monoshij, focused on boosting assertiveness, emotional clarity, and conflict-management skills—and it was nothing short of transformative.

From the very first session, students were encouraged to pause and reflect on how they communicate—what triggers them, how they react under pressure, and how their tone, words, and body language influence interactions. Self-awareness exercises helped them figure out whether their natural style is passive, aggressive, or assertively confident—and what changes could make their communication more effective.

The workshop quickly moved into hands-on, activity-driven learning. Students jumped into role-plays, realistic conflict scenarios, and interactive group discussions, practicing ways to express themselves clearly, respectfully, and with confidence. These exercises challenged them to break old habits, approach disagreements calmly, and see the power of active listening and empathy in action.

Beyond the activities, the workshop created a safe space for students to share experiences, make mistakes, and learn from each other. Many said it helped them “find their voice,” giving them the tools to set boundaries, manage stress, and handle tricky conversations with maturity—skills that go far beyond the classroom.

By the end of the program, students walked away with more than just techniques—they gained a renewed sense of confidence, self-awareness, and clarity in communication. Workshops like this reflect ASMi Business School’s commitment to nurturing not only academically sharp students but also emotionally intelligent, future-ready leaders who can navigate challenges, collaborate effectively, and lead with empathy.
