In a significant stride towards advancing medical education and patient care, Techno India DAMA Hospital has inaugurated the Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists (IAGE) Endoscopic Training Centre – marking a new chapter in healthcare excellence for Eastern India. Designed as a hub for budding gynecologists and surgeons, the centre aims to equip medical professionals with cutting-edge skills in minimally invasive procedures, setting new benchmarks in precision-driven treatment.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by some of the most respected names in the medical fraternity, including Dr. Kalyan Barmade (President, IAGE), Dr. Bhaskar Pal (President, FOGSI), and Dr. P. C. Mahapatra (Professor Emeritus, Obstetrics & Gynaecology), alongside distinguished experts from across the country. Their presence not only elevated the occasion but also reinforced the importance of collaborative learning and innovation in modern medicine.
Reflecting on this milestone, Prof. Manoshi RoyChowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group and Co-Chancellor of Techno India University, emphasized the deeper vision behind the initiative. She highlighted how the institution continues to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application—because true transformation happens when learning extends beyond classrooms into impactful practice. Her words resonated with a shared belief: that healthcare education must evolve alongside technology to serve humanity better.

Established in collaboration with IAGE, the training centre is spearheaded by Prof. Dr. Aloke Kumar De and Dr. Chiranjit Ghosh. It is envisioned as a premier destination for advanced endoscopic training, supported by modern simulation systems, sophisticated instruments, and structured learning modules. Through academic exchange and hands-on clinical exposure, the centre will nurture a new generation of surgeons capable of delivering safer, more efficient, and minimally invasive treatments.
What sets this initiative apart is its human-centric approach. Endoscopic training here is not merely about mastering surgical techniques—it is about redefining patient care. By reducing recovery time, minimizing surgical risks, and enhancing precision, these procedures embody a shift towards compassionate, patient-first healthcare.
Notably, this centre stands as the second IAGE Endoscopic Training Hub in Eastern India, further strengthening Techno India DAMA Hospital’s commitment to regional medical advancement. It opens doors for doctors and gynaecologists from across the region and beyond, creating a vibrant ecosystem of shared knowledge, innovation, and excellence.
At its core, this initiative reflects a powerful message to young doctors and participants: you are not just acquiring a skill—you are shaping the future of healthcare. With every procedure learned and every life touched, the ripple effect of this training will extend far beyond hospital walls.
As Techno India DAMA Hospital continues to expand its vision, it remains steadfast in building a healthcare ecosystem that is technologically advanced, widely accessible, and deeply humane—where every innovation ultimately serves the well-being of patients.
